A Great Book To Give Someone
I found this be an great book to give my 14 yr daughter. She just recently told us about the sexual abuse which occurred in daycare when she was 5 to 6 yrs. We all are having a hard time with this situation and dealing with it. She believes that God has abandoned her and I want her to know he has not. I believe this book will show her that if she will just read it. I am not sure if she is ready at this point yet but when she is, it will be here for her. THANK YOU.

The best resource I've ever found for dealing with abuse of any kind. While sexual abuse is the primary focus, the author does a masterful job at working through principles that will help any person who has been abused. The emotions felt after abuse are clearly labeled and defined, the subtle lies that you believe after abuse are identified, and truth is applied to each lie and emotion. I highly recommend this resource for ANYONE who has been abused or works with people who have been abused.
Actually it's for my son. He hasn't started reading it yet, but I'm hoping it will help him.
